Stellar Works, the leading global design brand from Shanghai has announced its first UK showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell, London’s design neighbourhood, and will preview it during #CDW2018.
Stellar Works collaborates with leading international designers such as Yabu Pushelberg, Space Copenhagen and Neri&Hu to create beautiful collections characterised by Asian sensibility and timeless craft, all proudly Made in Shanghai.
For Clerkenwell Design Week 2018, and ahead of the official opening in Autumn, Stellar Works presents Shanghai:Shift an immersive photographic installation in the raw and unfinished space.
Shanghai:Shift comprises a series of large-scale images art directed by Stellar Works’ creative directors Neri&Hu and photographed on the streets of Shanghai. The imagery will be contrasted with a selection of new Stellar Works furniture to create a dynamic and surreal homage to the cityscape of Shanghai.
New pieces include the Industry, Tripod, and the Bund furniture collections by Neri&Hu, the modular Infinity sofa and ottoman by Space Copenhagen, and reissues of vintage designs by mid-century masters, Jens Risom and Vilhelm Wohlert, alongside an edit of pieces from Stellar Works core collection.
