COVER magazine at Clerkenwell

Based just up the road from Clerkenwell, COVER—the leading magazine on carpets and textiles for modern interiors—is pleased to continue a media partnership with CDW. A highlight of the London design scene, CDW always offers an eclectic range of products, inspiringly presented with characteristic Clerkenwell style.

This year, COVER look forward to the St John’s Square takeover by British carpet manufacturer Brintons, who launch Craigend: the latest collection designed by their long-term collaborators Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons of Timorous Beasties. This installation will be presented by the duo in person on Tuesday 22 May. Other Conversations on COVER’s radar include ‘Plastic Fantastic’, chaired by Caroline Till, the co-founder of Franklin Till and co-author of ‘Radical Matter: Rethinking materials for a sustainable future’ and Patrizia Moroso on the advantage of combining craftsmanship and tailoring with industrial processing techniques. COVER also look forward to seeing textile and flooring brands such as Kasthall, Bute and Création Baumann.

Lucy Upward, COVER Editor says: “Having featured the new publication ‘Radical Matter’ in the last issue—our 50th edition—it is wonderful to have the co-author Caroline Till discussing the subject of plastic use in design on our doorstep. Clerkenwell Design Week 2018 offers an insight into the innovative use of materials and textiles in interiors elsewhere too, with products on show such as architectural dividers, acoustic solutions, wall panels and flooring.”

Don’t miss COVER 51, the interiors issue, out at the end of May. The digital edition will be available for free at cover-magazine.com
