Award-winning designers Junction Fifteen make their debut appearance at CDW

Junction Fifteen make their first appearance at Clerkenwell Design Week to showcase their new Morf Collection at the infamous House Of Detention.

Junction Fifteen, established in 2012, create award winning, innovative and contemporary furniture full of character and playful charm for the domestic and contract furniture market. Soon after launching their first collection at the London Design Festival in September 2013, Junction fifteen were awarded the highly regarded ‘Design Guild Mark’ for their Olly Stool.

The pieces are manufactured using high quality sustainable materials and local craftsmanship. The collection’s key material is tubular steel, a versatile material perfect for creating strong structures with fluid form. ‘Our pieces celebrate the versatility of tubular steel with the Olly Stool’s seemingly complex arrangement being a juxtaposition to the Stem Stool’s simplistic and elegant clean lines. Our new Morf collection demonstrates this versatility of mild steel in a more traditional and honest approach.’

The newly designed Morf pieces have a minimal, coherent and perfectly proportioned appearance. A variable leg thickness offers a unique detail welded within closed loop profiles. With a low centre of gravity, wide angle legs and strong steel framework it is ideal for demanding environments.

‘Our intent was to design a strong and stable range with a playful and approachable aesthetic. The outcome achieved this as well as offering unique detailing and strong family resemblance’.

Visit Junction Fifteen in Platform, Stand P37 where you can try their products and meet the designers.
