London-based cabinet makers West & Reid will be making their Clerkenwell Design Week debut this year as just one of a handful of bespoke kitchen makers. Exhibiting as part of The British Collection, they’ll be showcasing their unique aesthetic that blends contemporary design with timeless style.
It’s an exciting time for West & Reid, a partnership between craftsmen Malcolm Weir and Tom Jarvis, who have taken on a new workshop in Brixton and are currently working on some creatively diverse projects throughout the London area, pushing the boundaries for modern British kitchen design. Recent projects have caught the attention of magazines and big brands thanks to West & Reid’s beautiful designs and the exceptional quality of their craftsmanship. Their signature veneered plywood kitchens are stunning, but the variety of their work is a testament to their determination to keep exploring the possibilities for kitchen design.
Increased media recognition is pushing the profile of this home-grown brand, but they remain firmly rooted in their heritage and minutely involved in the details of every project.
