Grand Opening of the Simply Move Exhibition

Design is an essential factor for success in the market – with this statement, Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, inaugurated the Simply Move exhibition on January 15, 2019. In nine fascinating projects relating to transportation, sports and health, visitors can learn about future mobility. The exhibits have been contributed by designers and developers from Bavaria. “Good design helps us understand new and often complex technologies. Simply Move is an impressive display of corporate innovation and design,” said Aiwanger.

Dr. Michael Kerkloh, President and CEO of Munich Airport, is delighted with the exhibition held at the airport’s Terminal 2: “An air traffic hub such as Munich Airport is the ideal location for staging this exhibition because we work to facilitate worldwide mobility for thousands of travelers every day.”

Simply Move will be shown until February 28, 2019 at Terminal 2. It is the initial event of a five-part series that will end in February 2020. The next exhibition, which will be titled Digital Nature. Bavaria designs – Lifestyles of the Future, will open in March 2019.
