Paris Design Week’s “Le Off” event takes up residence in Vertbois, a hub of creativity in the centre of Paris.

The Paris Design Week “Le Off” event is an exhibition of 40 young hopefuls, talented emerging designers who have been selected following an international call for applicants. “Le Off” is a genuine springboard for new talents and it is definitely one of the highlights of the week. After the Cité de la Mode et du Design and Ground Control, for its ninth edition “Le Off” is taking over Vertbois, a neighbourhood that has become a true hub of creativity. Thanks to the drive and enthusiasm of the inspired Collectif Vertbois, this rather sleepy little corner of Paris has managed to attract concept stores, restaurants and some of the most visionary and creative galleries of the moment, both ephemeral and permanent. It is here, between the districts of République and Arts et Métiers, that a totally new way of reflecting our current times is being invented with just one guiding principle: excellence and know-how. It is also here that Paris Design Week has chosen to showcase the new design scene from September 5th – 10th 2019.
