The Beirut-based gallery returns to Design Days Dubai for the fourth time to showcase some of the leading lights of Lebanese design.
Founded in 2011, Art Factum Gallery’s aim is to present the best of Lebanese design from rising design talents to the renowned to the international market. A strong supporter of local craft and resources, the gallery and its designers always utilise materials and craft techniques found locally.
Art Factum Gallery’s booth at Design Days Dubai next month focuses on the incredible lighting of Lebanese designers Carla Baz, Marc Dibeh and Niko Koronis, surrounding one of the gallery’s most iconic items, Karim Chaya’s ‘Arlette’ rocking chair.
Inspired by the exceptional heritage of Lebanese craftsmanship, French-Lebanese designer Carla Baz’s products are sculptural and functional. Created in brushed brass, ‘Mandolin’ is an original and elegant wall lighting option.Carla Baz, Mandolin, 2015

Highly-acclaimed Lebanese designer Karim Chaya heads up numerous companies, including ACID (specialises in design, manufacturing and installation of architectural detailing), spockdesign (devoted to designing bespoke furniture and lighting pieces) and actively contributes to the family-owned coloured cement tile production company, Blatt Chaya. A selection of Karim Chaya’s individual furniture pieces will be shown at Design Days Dubai, including ‘Ferdinand’ and ‘Arlette #2’, a rocking chair made from American walnut and black leather.
